    PREP-KC's Data Science Initiative is a comprehensive program bringing data literacy education to Kansas City students through competitions, courses, and professional partnerships.

    Who can participate in DataViz KC?

    High school and middle school students from PREP-KC partner districts across the Kansas City metropolitan area can participate in teams of up to 5 members.

    What is Data in Action?

    Data in Action is an 8th grade elective course offered in Kansas City schools that teaches students the data science process and connects them with Missouri industry professionals.

    How can professionals get involved?

    Kansas City area professionals can judge competitions, mentor students, share datasets, host workplace visits, or join our Professional Learning Community to advance data science education.
